怎么读印记
- 先看材质: 「Sterling」「925」或行狮标是纯银;「EPNS」「A1」「Quadruple Plate」或「Silver on copper」是镀银。
- 再看厂家: 名字、缩写或图形(Gorham 的狮子、锚和 G;Meissen 的交叉剑)。
- 再看年代: 英国银器有日期字母;很多陶瓷厂每隔几年换底款,每页的年代列表就是干这个的。
- 款式号和器形号不是年份。

EPNS 是什么意思?
电镀镍银:贱金属合金外面镀了一层薄银。不是纯银。见 EPNS 页。
英国银器印记怎么读?
找四个标记:成色标(纯银是行狮)、检验所城市标(伦敦豹头、伯明翰锚、谢菲尔德玫瑰)、日期字母和厂家缩写。日期字母的字体和盾形每个周期都变,要对照检验所的表读。
App 能从照片认印记吗?
清晰、光线好的特写可以给出可能的厂家或标记体系。对照页上的年代列表确认,很多印记用了一百多年,只有细微变化。
